It Passed. It's Law. What's Next?

 As you've probably hear or read, the early retirement incentive that MAPE and AFSCME worked hard to enact into law this year is, in fact, a law. But, there's still a few steps that agencies will take before the optional incentive can be offered to state employees. A survey will be taken and the final agency finances will be reviewed. Finally, it's important to remember that it is the agency's decision whether or not to offer the incentive.
