The meeting was called to order by Michelle Doheny, Local 2101 President, at 12:00.

Announcements
•    Please tell Royce Tyre of new MAPE employees.  
•    A drawing will be held today for two $20 Cub cards, and 2 MAPE mugs
•    Floor microphones will be used at each meeting for members to speak.  Please come to the microphone or indicate to an officer if you need one brought to you.

•    Women’s Expo will be held at MAPE Central January 20, 2011 from 3-8 pm.  Watch the MAPE website for more information.

•    Check the posted seniority roster for accuracy.
•    We are seeking a backup MAPE presenter at the DHS New Employee Orientation.  Training will be provided.  If you are interested, contact Royce Tyre.
•    Review your Open Enrollment confirmation letters to ensure all changes have been captured and will go into effect January 2011.

•    M/P (Local officers) 2011 Local 2101 Budget
•    M/P (Local officers) Local 2101 Standing Rules
    o    M/S/F (Danielle Bean) To postpone voting on the Standing Rules until the January 2011 business meeting to allow more time for members to review Robert’s Rules of Order.
•    Mentoring – Jill Hiatt wrote a document in regards to Mentoring and all types of knowledge transferring opportunities amongst employees and Union members.  Please contact Jill Hiatt regarding mentoring opportunities.

•    Team MAPE/PAC – nothing to report
•    Business Agent, Sheila Pokorny, spoke about the Governor elect and the new legislature. All are encouraged to contact your legislators, speak with them about who you are and what you do and how you hope to have them work with and for you.  The steward training was cancelled due to low enrollment numbers.  Our premiums are not going up 6.7%. Also, there is an opening on the Constitution and Rules Committee.
