Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is the highest legislative and policymaking body of MAPE, except when the Delegate Assembly is in session. It has all of the legislative and policymaking authority of the Delegate Assembly, except the power to amend the constitution.

MAPE Board Mission Statement: 
The Board of Directors provide ongoing grassroots leadership and direction to MAPE by developing guidelines, policies and procedures that promote achieving and fulfilling MAPE's vision and mission.

Who are the members of the MAPE Board? 
The Board of Directors is composed of two elected components -- statewide officers and regional directors. The five statewide officers are elected by the entire membership. Region membership elects the 21 regional directors.
