Please check seniority rosters
to make sure your information is accurate

State agencies are currently in the process of preparing new seniority rosters.

The seniority rosters that are being produced by agencies now will be the rosters used for any layoff activity during the upcoming biennium beginning on July 1, 2009. Now is the time to check the rosters to determine if the hire or promotion dates listed for your classification(s) are correct. This roster will determine the layoff order should it become necessary to reduce the employee count based upon the upcoming budget.

If you have any corrections that need to be made to the seniority roster, you may contact your Human Resources office to get the correction(s) made. If you encounter problems getting any items corrected you should ask your union steward or MAPE business agent for help.

It is important that these seniority rosters are correct, so watch for them, and then check your name and classification listings for correctness.
